Sri Lanka Post offers a special courtesy charges for charity/Social Services/Voluntary organizations in their letter posting.

• Special fee per letter                – Rs.50.00
• Maximum weight of a letter     – 30 g

• Written request of the organization /institute
• The organization /institute should have been approved by a parliament act
• It is compulsory to have the prior approval from the Postmaster General
• Minutes of the final congress meeting /accounts report of the organization /institute should be needed. In addition ,the institute is liable to present any other report as per the request of Postmaster General
• It should be an institute that is conducted without profitable manners.
• The institute does not belong to the facilities of registered post or any other special provisions under this courtesy.
